Having a “guy” for that

since moving back home, i’ve been investing in finding and supporting small businesses in the city to take care of me and my things. here’s a list of “guys” i love and would recommend:
- a jeweler (repair, clean, and sizing) - a watch guy (repair, restore, battery replacement) - a tailor (hemming my pants) - a camera repair guy (one of the last in the city!) - a dry cleaner (self explanatory) - a leather guy (shoes and bags) - a knife sharpener
nothing brings me more joy than picking something up that has lovingly been given more life. seek these folks out, keep them in business. an added bonus is that i’ve “unlocked” a bunch of buildings downtown that i wouldn’t ordinarily set foot in.
