My mood is poor and I don’t feel well when I skip breakfast or eat too late in the morning. There are so many yummy options! This ciabatta was the base for an egg and bacon sandwich I ate on the train to work this week.

It sets me off on the right path for the day When I finish eat breakfast and I’m full I notice I don’t get the nighttime munchies. I take it as an opportunity to get more protein for the day. Also I love this ritual of taking time in the morning to prepare myself a nice feast 🥰

i always had issue eating sweet and heavy things early in the morning bc they made me feel so sick and i basically had to force it down. i’ve said it here before but i love quesadillas in the morning bc they’re fairly quick yet so filling and give you so much energy. i also make baked pita “pizzas” w olive oil, feta, spinach, roasted peppers…honestly whatever i have in the fridge. i really love a good egg and french fry moment when im feeling lazy :) or leftover rice and beans. i always pair anything i eat with a hot tea or some kombucha for easy digestion.

I recently discovered that the coffee machine at work makes great hot chocolate. I’ve taken to putting a bag of peppermint tea (also provided by the office) in to make the ultimate sugary morning treat.
