There’s a condemned house next my girlfriend‘s house that is made of maple and looks to be hand carved. There are 8 squares with similar beautiful designs and an ornate brass handle. The rest of the house is cracked and leaking and the big orange sign next to the door is peeling off of the wall, but I stop to look at that door almost every morning.
I’m just now realizing I’ve never thought to take a picture of it.
