Old Saw is one of my fav new bands atm. incredibly beautiful droning americana soundscapes. this remix album is really special, feels like the cool desert night counterpart to the main album’s oppressive solar heat
they have that easy listen to too folk rock indie sound with surprising soul crushing songs like Hawke's "Therese", "Over", and "Mermaid Bar" and Waterhouse's, "Model, actress, whatever" and "everybody breaks up anyway"
Probably one of my favs to come out in the last year or so. Definitely has a Dylan/Neil Young ish energy to it, and a really good listen for being between chapters of life.
another no-skip album, from my all-time favorite band. definitely recommend if you're a fan of green day, the cure, ignant benches with a dash of emo and some post-punk wave!
