Such a lovely song !!
I've been listening to it on repeat while walking to my classes in the cold,
feels like walking into a patch of sun, the light warming your face

This set of songs is so heart warming/meaningful. John Denvers delivery also gives these tunes so much fun and power.
Personally it always resets my mind in a way to realize that all of this stuff in the world comes and goes in cycles and nature is awesome. "And, oh, I love the life within me I feel a part of everything I see And, oh, I love the life around me... ...Can you see yourself reflected in the seasons? Can you understand the need to carry on?"

I remember listening to this a lot during my senior year of college with my big winter jacket & boots on, walking around campus.
It made me feel like I was in a weird mystery coming of age movie. Weirdly nostalgic now. I wish I could listen to this album for the first time again. <3

My favorite song of the week, maybe month. Heard it for the first time driving down a long winding road and it seemed twice as long than it actually was. Every word fell into place like a mantra. 10/10 - go for a walk or a drive and melt into it all.

One of my closest and oldest friends I have known since we were in elementary school is Indian. We would usually hang out at her house and one of the meals her mom made a lot was dal. I was always so excited to eat at her place, her mom would make us up plates and would always offer extras and I always felt so loved. Anytime I have dal I feel so warm inside and comforted like a child. My relationship with my friend and her family is still so strong despite not seeing each other often.
Indian food of any kind (whether its homemade, store bought, or from a restaurant) remains my main comfort meal, but nothing compares to her mothers cooking and the conversations we would have while eating 🫶
