glass blocks
i grew up in a house in the middle of absolutely nowhere and my mother's bathroom windows and walls were all glass block and i think it's so beautiful and fun and nostalgic. doesn't it also look so tasty and nice to chew on?

I always thought of it as “dentist glass“ because my dentist growing up had it in their waiting room. I might just now be realizing that this is not true and the style goes beyond (and maybe rarely intersects with) dentist offices….
