dancing everywhere
i swear dancing makes everything better, there’s no rules, you can be extra or even just dancing with ur hands and you dont have to be good at it! dance at a party, whilst you’re cooking in the kitchen, whilst you brush your teeth in the morning, as you’re walking down the street, as you approach your friends after u havent seen them in awhile, dance dance dance!!

yesss preach! i backpacked through china a couple of months ago and i loved how normal dancing in public was there, especially with older people. you'd just stroll through the park at 10am and there would be dozens of elderly people dancing in groups. wish more people were like that, dancing can really change your life

Again, I'm using this category as an umbrella so I can list my favorite movies that I think by watching will make everyone's life better or at least distract you from whatever bullshit is going on in your own life for a moment, and put a smile on your face. finding comfort in your INDEPENDENCE
i think pushing thru my fears and trying to be more comfortable with my independence has helped me romanticize my life sm. you get to go watch any movie, brunch by yourself with a book in hand, go on long walks alone, take pictures everywhere you go! i also suggest reading more esp poetry, and writing down those phrases that stick out to you or resonate <3

you know those really old blankets passed on to you from your grandparents and their grandparents, i can’t help but think about how many people in my own family, my ancestors have found comfort and warmth under the very same one i’m huddled up with right now
