so when u get the work into a gallery or selected into a film festival or whatever they can flex to all their middle school friends and be the coolest kid ever
I painted this up-cycled mixed media piece of my daughters favorite stuffed animals (Pudgy, Pinkey, Gorbo, & Gobby) on an acid trip. I’ll never sell it, I’ll never make prints, and likely nobody will care about this once I, and the story behind this is long gone. That’s okay. I create for the sake of creation, not for an expected outcome.
This past year I have become obsessed with all that our hands do. hands help, build, create, love, share. There is so much beauty in our day to day lives you just have to look for it. This is one of my favorite hand pictures I took this year. my coworker is opening a pomegranate to share with our class. I love how her hands are making a heart while she is separating the seeds.
