I've had catastrophically low self confidence for my whole life, but today someone asked me if I knew how to draw, and whether I could draw something for a project we're working on. I thought for a beat and realised that I am in fact quite good at drawing and could answer the question without undermining myself. Felt very powerful.
Later on in the day I had a massive tank in self confidence because I realised I'd fucked something up and need to redo a bunch of work but hopefully thinking about this will bring the spirit back.

Fake that ego until it’s real. your inner voice is an insanely loving mother that only sees the good. it may feel silly at first… but you are as capable as anyone, so let yourself believe that you are! isn't that the first step in getting anything you want?
