Lovely lil gallery in a beautiful not so touristy city. Features work by kojima hisaya, Gerard richter, leandro erlich (swimming pool), Matthew barney etc.
Kanazawa also has a beautiful traditional Japanese Garden.
I have been going here for years but the pandemic really made me miss large scale art forms. Isamu Noguchi is one of my favorite artists and you can experience his love for sculpture and respect for space through the entire museum.
Rubbish.. something like crumpled up receipts with coffee stains next to a half eaten sandwich and an empty pack of cigarettes.. so many interesting textures and shadows perhaps
I feel guilty i have read such few nonfiction books in my life... There is one about chili peppers that I read through pretty thoroughly maybe 10ish years ago. It’s big because it had full-page botanical illustrations of the different species. I love chiles so much and I love learning about things I love… I gotta look for it on my bookshelf again
