the local skate shop in my hometown! the owner taught me how to skateboard when i was a little kid and the guy who works there when heās out is totally cute and so nice to my mom.

every since i got my first real skateboard at a santa cruz demo in columbus ohio at dodge skatepark i was hooked. not only endless trips and adventures with friends learning how to navigate life and live how you want. such a cool thing to learn that inadvertently teaches you perseverance and encourages independence. itās something thatās hard to get if you never loved it, and i donāt think iāll ever stop loving it.

š¹Idk if it is still like this but most skateboarders were cool and openminded when i used to skate and would help people learn stuff rather than make fun of them but it has also been like 20 years. also don't push mongo or hold your skateboard by the trucks.

watched this for the first time on new yearās day when it got put on the criterion channel. hate to be that girl who says stuff like āfound this movie on the criterion channelā but heyyyyyyyy. have watched it four more times since then. one of the greatest conversation movies iāve ever seen! all of the dialogue is so intentional and shows another side of the creative giant that is cameron crowe. so tender and romantic. quickly became one of my favorites.

šæIāve been wanting to make my website more reminiscent of late 90ās web pages so I came on here for design inspo. I ended up getting totally consumed by all of the personal homepages. There used to be so much creativity, personality, and intention involved in creating an online presence. I could (and did) scroll through here all day!
