hell yeah, if I only ever stuck to what I was good at life would be so dull. Now I get to do fun things with my free time because I tried new things I wasnt good at!
anything particular you’ve done recently you’re happy for giving a go?
sniffle for me it Was drawing. I’ve always been “bad “ at any types of art, but I now realize it’s because being graded on what I created rlly took the fun out of it. So now I allow myself to suck at drawing and it’s great
sniffle i’ve been hobby maxing this month so guitar, collaging, and sewing mainly
to do is get better at crocheting, attempt screen printing, and cooking + baking bread
acid___rain Yeah it’s annoying growing up and realising you disliked something just because of how school forced it on you. Like how school made me think I was unsporty but now I enjoy doing multiple sports a week
It's delightful to be absolutely free of any expectations. Just show up, miss the swing, make something ugly, be chill about it. It's a treat to fail at things.
ive found it helps to replace time you would be on your phone consuming content with other forms of media/content that is more likely to spark something creative - movies music books journaling - all will help your inner child :) good luck
