I took a trip this past weekend to Pittsburgh for Games Done Quick. Was blown away by how beautiful it was. The view from Mt. Washington was amazing! Not to mention the gothic skyscrapers. Shocking that deindustrialization has left its population only half of what it was in 1950.
Highlights: J & Jās Family Restaurant, The Andy Warhol Museum, The Cathedral of Learning

i worked here for a few years and often got emotional just entering it (dramatic i know!!), it is just such a marvel, truly emblematic of the city/iconic, visiting the top was always such an adventure, also my fav part was that there are these murals throughout the lobby (mainly the ceiling but also the reception desk wall and in the elevators) that feature gears in celestial formations it is extremely steampunk!!!!

Noroi: The Curse (2005)
- Found footageā¦ the climax is so good. Great for fans of ghost/demon stuff.
Pulse (2001)
- One of my favourite horror movies ever. Worms its way into your being. Some truly terrifying, iconic scenes and imagery, not to mention quite prescient in its message re: online connectivity and society. Really canāt sing its praises enough!
Ju-On: The Grudge (2002)
- A classic!!! Still hits. Quintessential haunted house domestic strife ghost story. Toshio š¢šāā¬
Audition (1999)
- Probably my least favourite of this batch. Not for the squeamish. Still worth a watch if only for its feminist social commentary.
GonJiam: Haunted Asylum (2018)
- OK this one is admittedly kinda hokey but itās based off a REAL location and the jump scares are amazing!! Some truly spine-tingling moments. Not recommended just before bed lol š¬ (Also found footage)
