It’s easy to overlook how worn down those bristles get from constant use day in/out. Clean new brush is one of those little things that makes for that much better of a start to my morning, with no actual change to my routine.
You probably could use one - but even if you don’t, you will soon.
You should Literally never regret getting a truth off your chest. The people around you deserve to know and you will feel less alone when you introduce them to something you’ve kept close. Like here’s something I’ve been ruminating on, here’s my impression, here’s my little friend…
Honesty is good
My mom is not a hardened career woman. When I was growing up it was difficult for me to understand how hard she worked precisely because there was no work/life balance for her. She never turned off. I will always remember her as I saw her on weekday mornings in elementary school: Glasses, hair up, Atkins bar, nightie that read “Don’t wake the bear”. I don’t think she was ever more beautiful than she is in her work uniform.
Language / emergent slang, decor, running/cardio, forcing the people you love to watch a weird movie they have zero interest in, Philip Seymour Hoffman, James Gandolfini
