🎹every time i hear a harry styles or dodie song i am immediately transported back to my bedroom in 2020 and it's just insane to me how much power music has to provoke memories and bring back emotions - i always am reminded by my teenage loneliness and insecurity when i hear these artists bc that's what dominated my life at the time i listened to them nonstop but it's fun realising that i still know all the lyrics and i can look back fondly on the person i used to be

🚫I think she makes objectively bad pop music with simple-minded and often narcissistic lyrics. I don’t have a problem with Swifties who are children or casual listeners for nostalgia’s sake, but I am infuriated by grown adults who close themselves off to any other artistic expression to focus all their energy on idol worship of a performer who is so mediocre in vocals, stage presence, and songwriting.
There are so so many female artists who are more genuine, talented, captivating, and more deserving of praise and listenership than her that it actually astounds me. It feels like I’m stuck in a buffet with a million offerings and instead of getting some delicious, fresh, local meal crafted by a chef with years of experience and real passion for what they do, everyone is lined up at the one station that serves day-old IHOP pancakes and lukewarm Wawa coffee creamer.

🍲i recently started making this and it’s DELICIOUS and so versatile. fry some tofu with a sauce that u like (i use sweet chilli) boil a pot of water with soy sauce and ginger. when boiling add a vege stock cube and garlic and mix. then add in your veggies of choice (i recommend bok choy or spinach) add some chilli flakes if you like. once that’s getting cooked then add in noodles of choice. i use udon or pad thai rice noodles. add anything you want!!! then add tofu, garnish with green onion or bean sprouts and chilli flakes and you’re done!
