i know you don't too much "professional" tips, however i wanna give you my tips when i used to take pictures using my phone only. for example the photo below was taken with an Iphone X and as you can see the main elements were : - the lighting : the sun is your friend ! when you can use it ! however i advice you to either use the soft light during the morning (before noon) or the almost golden hour (around 4/5pm depending on your location - before the sunset by an hour or two) - the background : sure the focus will be on you as the main object in the picture however, the background is essential in order to give some life to the picture, or else the picture will be "boring". - The angles : have fun, play with all the angles you can, top, bottom, from the side, while people walking around ... - the pose : the more natural you look in the pose the more it gives it a life, however, you can always look directly to the lens but try the best to keep natural, no extra posing or anything, to keep that natural yet aesthetic feel. - the editing ; we can't deny the fact that the editing at the end plays a role in the whole picture, however, when i say editing, i don't mean photoshop lightroom skin tones etc ... be as simple as you want. (the photo below was mainly edited with VSCO, put a filter and made the colors more warm)

The first step of taking a good pic is definitely getting the settings of the camera you’re using. Most modern phones take great pictures, so mess with the zoom, focus, brightness, etc levels on that. However, I love a digital camera for pictures because I feel like you fool around with the settings once and then there isn’t much editing you have to do after that. You can find cheap ones online if you look for lightly used ones. I think the one I use is a sony cybershot? I’m pretty sure most of them are similar, just be sure to always have the flash setting on and mess around with exposure and stuff (I looked up tiktoks for the settings of my specific camera lmao). For posing, movement is everything. Have whoever is taking the picture just do bursts of photos as you continuously go through poses. Run a hand through your hair, switch what leg you’re putting your weight on, hold ur hands behind your back, smile really big so your eyes squint, look more serious/seductive, etc. Most people who have really good ig feeds are taking hundreds of pics for one post. Lastly, everyone edits their pictures. I don’t mean editing body of facial features, but lighting, exposure, things from the background, frizzy hair, stains on shirts, yellow teeth, etc. I like the apple camera roll settings for exposure, balance, clarity, and color balance. vsco for filters. picsart for editing things out/in and small beautifications. P.S. lighting is also very important (why the digi flash makes everyone looks so good) so make sure the light is facing you, not behind you!! Practice makes perfect, so just keep trying and good luck:)

I’d try an intro photography course on Linked In Learning, Coursera, Skillshare, etc. You probably can try a weekor a month free for all of those. You don’t need to be an expert, but learning fundamentals will help you a lot. And you’ll get an idea of different compositions that will help you see things in a more photographic way, too. But mostly take a million photos! Back in my old days I’d have 24 precious frames of film at a time. With digital your frames are unlimited so use them with abandon! As for general tips, get closer and fill the frame. You probably aren’t taking photos to be scenic postcards so your photos will be more effective if you compose more tightly around your subject. Second, put that subject off-center in the frame. Like every photography rule, these are made to be broken, but they’re a good start. Finally, back when I was shooting 24 frames at a time, I was happy to get 2 I really liked. You will make mistakes and most of your frames won’t be “good,” but that’s part of photography and art and life in general. Also finally, practice photography the way that makes you happy! Don’t judge yourself against anyone else’s work. ✌️💛

What I like to do is take videos of myself posing in an outfit I like. I’ll watch it through, and focus on the angles I feel like im eating the most. comfortable photography takes patience, hype music and good friends to remind you to just have fun. this isn’t specific advice, but just a reminder to have fun while living in the moment xx …. everyone has that one angle they love, and that one photo they try to avoid.

I can’t find the Creator and i am mad about it because i wanna credit the one who made sure to put this for free. I’ve found this website RetroPrint where they show the details of how you can make a Windows 95 customised theme on your phone (with over 800 icons app to choose from 27 of them are already made for the modern apps like netflix twitter etc - some graphics for the widgets too And 3 sounds.)

If there is one style that literally calms me is stippling. The endless dots, the slow process, the nuance effect, the final results. I just love it and appreciate it even more when i spend hours/days to finish one.

The fact that i can stay in bed warm with my phone or laptop and music in the background as i watch my favourite movies/series/youtube vids with a warm tea is simple enough to make me grateful for wherever i am today. Worrying about what I should wear to work is a beautiful thing because it’s a privilege that sadly some people can’t afford :( Complaining about to cook is a beautiful thing because someone somewhere sadly can’t even afford/have access to a simple bread piece. Literally feeling the warmth of the sun while standing waiting for the bus is a beautiful thing to cherish and be grateful for.
