It's Aleksander :] I am transgender so i changed my name (a few times actually). At the start I had some "rules" to choose a name:
1. It should be italian (i am italian, i didn't want to stand out)
2. It should be long and have nicknames (i like nicknames)
3. It shouldn't be religious (i am an atheist and i didn't like to have a name associated with god)
4. It should have a cool meaning (i like names' etymology)
In the end i chose Stefano, but it didn't feel like me at all.
I always liked Alessandro as a name, but i felt like i knew too many people with that name (like.... 5), so i looked up the variations and Aleksander stand out. Aleksander means "defender of men", and i like to add "in a gay way" for fun. I also chose Hermes as a second "unofficial" name, so i ended up disregarding like almost half of the rules. lmao.
