post-hardcore (& 50hr work weeks)

the relentless rhythm of post-hardcore/screamo/metalcore is exactly what i need to keep me moving in all the hours i am not actually at work because if i stop i might dissolve . specific recs are early dance gavin dance albums (royal ocean through downtown battle mountain 2 except happiness) but especially downtown battle mountain 1 . also aya’s nts show mish mosh get a wash & alexisonfire’s watch out!
the two are a perfect pairing imo , but overall i guess i wouldn’t recommend 50hr work weeks

its my favorite album of all time. by the time he made in utero, he had already defined his style and really settled into his sound thru bleach and nevermind, but what makes this album the best of nirvana is his return to the punk roots that brought him to the scene to begin with.
