realising science is beautiful
wow i recently realised that in scans of cells etc - the cells aren't colourful themselves but it's the process of the fluorescent dyes they use to see the results...
here is a pic of some serotonin crystals under a microscope... like how cool and pretty?

As uni asignments, i have to observe vegetal tissues tinted with toluidine blue under the microscope; and they never fail to look beautiful.
