I recently updated my stage amp to this and I love it. small enough to carry around, but loud enough for full band shows. It’s a tube amp, Has a really nice clean sound as well as nice, but simple sound options. The 4 is the new one, but you can get the older versions cheaper, or get the 4 second hand. I think mine is a 3, second hand, and it was a couple hundred quid. Really reliable and great amp.

I googled the one you've been using and I think you might enjoy this one. Honestly I've had limited experience with amps and this has been the only real one I've owned and used since 2014 BUT it is a good amp if you're okay with limited controls. It has volume, reverb and tone and that's it. It is a tube amp and it gets unbelievably loud. Plus it looks really cool

my Something Wild DVD and cluttered pedalboard aside, this Squier Jazzmaster is my baby, incredibly versatile, remarkably light, and an incredibly sharp tone! as an alternative to strats and LPs, it’s my favorite guitar, tempted to give it a Mustang racing strip with electrical tape

For my dollar I will almost always prefer used music gear over new. Not only can you typically find something much nicer for the same price as a new instrument, but it’s a super cool feeling to pick up and play something that has stories to tell. Cigarette smoke stained plastic, dings and scratches from a previous life on the road, fret wear from channeling someone else’s creativity in a past life. It’s rad to feel like you’re just the latest steward of something that has had a long life before you!
(for the nerds: I seek out cheap Japan-made Fenders, the J-bass is a ’99, Bullet is an ‘83 that I modded with Porter S90 pickups, the Peavey 2x12 is from ‘94. Everything in this pic together cost me like $800 excluding the pedals and case)
