i’ve been like a little sickly victorian child these last couple of weeks with a double whammy of strep and pneumonia, and this song has really been getting me through it. not too loud or busy for my feverish brain, but not so quiet i’m bored of it.
It’s a sort of a classic of its era I guess - it feels like heavy late summer afternoons - just soaked with melancholy and nostalgia and a beautiful brooding bassline.
