is airbrush art kind of oversaturated rn…
i finally copped an airbrush after years of yearning last year and i have to say.. yea even though the game is majorly saturated it is such a lovely tool! painted this based on my teenage self’s walking route.
it makes me happy but also makes my nostrils fill with paint just like smog on the tube. wear a mask and you’re all good 🐎 trying new things is fun and should be done regularly! who cares about perception!

the answer is yes it is But also who cares this is beautiful in and of itself and on the grand scheme you are contributing to the zeitgeist which is always fun and makes people immediately intrigued in da work

my artistic side has atrophied lately but starting to get back into it as i realize it's.. huge for my mental health. extremely low barrier to entry. give it a try and open yourself up to experimentation on a rainy day. go crazy. i painted a self-portrait using a mixture of ash, water, and coffee grounds.

Paintings that look like ps1 games
Airbrushes are cheap and a whole generation grew up on low res graphics. When done with a lot of intention and forethought, they can be some of my fav paintings ever. Sasha Yazov is a wizard with it
