I’m a serial monogamist when it comes to t-shirts. Whichever one has made it out of hiding, it tends to be ’the one’ for seemingly ages until, for whatever reason, it changes. And then, that one is ’the one’. The current ‘one’ is an oldie: Keith Haring for Cotton On (Iconic Aussie brand). Pale pink, big and baggy. Note to self - don’t ruin or lose.

I started doing this in a period when I was experiencing deep confusion about who I was. I found being in a hat or sweatshirt with some signifiers specific to me or an idea I wanted to live by that day pinned me down and pumped me up. I use Jonathan Embroidery Plus in the garment district but most malls have a stand that offers this service. Embroidery is expensive but I think cements the idea best.

Favorite movie I watched this year it really made me feel grateful for everything I have while simultaneously relating to Amy in my own ways so it was really comforting yet emotional for me to watch on the plane during tour lol
