i think this feeling is so human. as much as i try to think that i want to just live alone, and only have the love for my friends and family, i know deep down thats not entirely true. i hadn’t found any solace in this idea until i stopped fighting that denial. embrace that it isn’t today but it also isn’t never! use that longing to fuel your passions, realize the yearning is a good thing, you want to love, you have so much potential to love.

In stressful times or environments, or even regular times, it is especially important knowing that the whole point is love. Its collecting things for the sake of it, its hugging your friends for not reason, its sitting by a fireplace on a cold day, its colourful cutlery. Everything is for love and im learning to be careful,

would you be the sea at night, the moon shining on it? sometimes violent? sometimes obedient? vast and dark?
i think thats the scene that i connect with most in nature. the sea and the moon. i want to be that everyday.
i dont mean the colours, though those could well be incorporated and i love wearing black and blue, but mostly the vibe. I'd go for frills, wavy flowy material, bell sleeves, embroidery, all reimagining froth in the sea. I'd go for long dresses, mermaid style. stuff with dyed hues. fabric that collects somewhere or forms deliberate folds (like the neckline). scarves to add dynamic. tiered skirts. wide leg, huge bell bottoms, bell sleeves, loose, big, long. fabrics like satin, velvet, lace, fur, fleece. things that i associate with the sea and the night.
meaning thereby, get philosophical with it, and channel that energy.
