Found the poem that I wrote while waiting for my delayed flight back in January… honey I was bored, hungover, and had just eaten shake shack at 7am
A girl really was crying hysterically in the LaGuardia airport bathroom… I wish you well dear one
This is the first time I’ve written a poem since probably some assignment given in high school

In this house arms are wide enough to welcome my reception
here are bones enough that have formed mine
shoulders that have never known tears
i eat clay hoping it will knead me again
sculpt me into a grip
give me another shape
i proved before how an iron body can be dented
