Human Acts -Han Kang I'm loving it so much. The writing is incredible and absolutely beautiful. (,,>﹏<,,) Was out in the park- and as much as I can't stand parks, I decided to just read. Almost finished with the book, now and cried during this chapter totally recommend <3

I read this book last summer and am re-reading it now because it’s so good. One of those “tell everyone you know to read it” books. She’s a poet turned essayist and she’s just got such a gift for articulating pain and humor and trauma and things that should be boring but aren’t. This collection is funny, it’s heartbreaking, it’s honest, it’s vulnerable. She’s the kind of writer most people wish they were (myself included).

NYC, drama, hope and wistfulness in one majestically written Magnus opum. Whole life story of four friends and their entanglements. First book that actually shook me to tears and laughter. Cannnot recommend enough. Those characters stayed with me for a very long time.

This is an update from another post, asking what I should give a friend of mine for her birthday. Safe to say, I've found what to do! Firstly, I DIYed a gift box for her- which I've done multiple times in the past. And the box looks perfect. I added some really pretty jewelry for her from OakSeason and some of her favorite candy. Most of all, I've created a bookmark for her. She loves Lana Del Rey, so I made it sort of that kind of theme. I'm so happy with how everything turned out. We went to a restaurant then the mall. It was so fun

Theatre acting in general. Not in a movie but a big stage with quick costume changes and memorized scripts. I've always loved it in general- especially doing something like that. Even tho I know it would never happen. I've always loved acting, but now I realize I love theatre acting. I don't know why- I don't have any experience or skill in that kind of acting, but I just feel like I'd nail it haha. As if the the love of it would automatically make me really good.
