kafka’s best known work. Depressing and hilarious. Short and deep. Simple but layered. You can draw so many different conclusions from it. Really an astounding achievement in literature.

Philosophical, Kafkaesque, innocent and nightmarish surrealism all at once.

A longggg time favorite. It is written from the perspective of a reincarnated poet who finds himself in the body of a cockroach. He is too small to reach the shift key of a typewriter so there isn’t any punctuation in his tales. It’s a quirky quick read you’ll never forget.

I won’t say much about this, given how even just a slight bit of information would be enough to absolutely spoil the eery experience of this read. what I will do is make two comments, a serious one and a not so serious one: 1. these short stories are intimate, creepy, haunting, disgusting, grotesque and beautiful. they have given me great inspiration for my own work and reading them was a fantastic experience. 2. there is skibidi-toilet… well, at least something adjacent needless to say, I highly recommend this collection

I am taking journalling seriously. It makes me feel cared for, pampered almost. I‘m taking my brain and wringing out all the thoughts onto a slab of paper. It’s also beneficial to the folks around me so they don’t have to put up with as many rants. My thoughts need to be extruded one way or another, and journalling has the added benefit of existing as a document that can be reviewed later.

she is a good rapper. The band is also good. I’m sorry to say but it was hamilton vibes. I couldn’t finish it. She definitely has talent but I think she needs to work on substance over execution.
