I want to be able to become a writer whose words just transfer onto paper or a computer seamlessly. I have always been envious of people to whom words come naturally... they seem to sew beautiful sentences together and all their thoughts flow into each other and they somehow always make sense? I wish to be able to write like that. I feel like executive dysfunction is also to blame as to why I sometimes (read: always) struggle with finding the right words. Damn you, depression and ADHD. But there's no point in dwelling on things that are pretty much a design flaw. :P Anyway, here's hoping I become a better writer this year because I have a lot to say. :)

I always feel that the word writer is too big for me, but I would say that I am one (or at least I try to be one😹). I write a little bit of everything... In my case, at the beginning, I do very well writing what comes to mind, and when I have more material I try to make an outline/summary of where I want the story to go. If I'm writing poetry, I write directly what comes to my mind without thinking much about it. I encourage you to start writing whatever it is, many times it just comes out without thinking much about it or having it planned.😊

I always want to improve my writing, so this feels like fate! With college application season coming to an end, I realized how much I enjoy giving my friends constructive criticism on their writing. Like, I genuinely enjoy it so much, and I feel it’s helped me become more aware of my own writing habits I need to work on^^
