For fashion purposes? Yes. As long as, if they're too dark, you take them off to talk to people because that's polite. (Also, some glasses aren't fashion glasses and that's okay!)
If the lights are too bright I also vote yes. Just tell other people when they ask so you don't look rude.
As long as people know that you're not wearing them to block people out I think it's fine. I actually WANT it to be a thing because I have some outfits that need sunglasses but no one uses them inside so I can't because I'll look silly...

I have a habit of keeping sunglasses on inside if I’m in a place with oppressive lighting or which is generally claustrophobic - on the tube it can be a godsend and I always always wear sunglasses at the airport. It’s calming and does really turn the volume down and if the mood strikes you can relish in how like Joan Didion you are - serenely detached yet observing and interested wherever you are.
But be warned people will assume you’re a diva and act accordingly so just be conscious of this and push the glasses back when you need to speak to someone.

I got a pair of blue lights today, and while I feel smart and sexy, I’m so bothered by having something on my face in front of my eyes !! I don’t know how the glasses girlies do it

They’re prescription or so you say and you didn’t think you’d be out this late and you need them and noone’s looking at you because everyone knows it means you’re invisible, they can see that, but they can’t see yooouuu

I love seeing the live site activity because it's like omg we're such different people all around the world who happen to be here at the same time. I think we need to bring Box Tops back. One of my favorite parts of elementary school were the Box Tops competitions for a pizza party and I feel sad for the children who didn't get to experience that. Maybe there's an equivalent I don't know about (???) but I think Box Tops competitions are something every kid should get to experience.
