i don't have much to add beyond what's been shared. it's been so bittersweet to reflect on childhood scenes.
the best summer of my life was probably 2007. pre-recession. old enough to be left alone all day but not old enough to have a car. i was stuck in the neighborhood with everyone else my age. we'd swim all day, bike to publix and buy bread. go home and play SSB: Melee on gamecube. beg whatever parents were around for pizza or sonny's bbq.
