Itās so intriguing the way people incorporate seasons in their lives, down to the most unassuming things. (Where I live thereās no seasons, so sometimes the way people talk about seasons feels relatively new to me, ācause thereās certain aspects about it that Iām likeā¦how did you get to the conclusion that this is a season?) I sometimes interpret things through months, but thatās it. I get it for Christmas movies or shows like Gilmore Girls, but itās still so curious to me

I imagine it must feel so different where you live, experiencing time mostly through months rather than seasons. Have you noticed any other patterns or rituals that people seem to tie to seasons that stand out to you? irislily Yeah, when they light up candles with certain smells they associate with any season. I look at it as in ādoes it smell good?ā, regardless of whatever season it is.
When they make certain dishes for certain seasons, instead of thinking it as dishes for holidays.
The way they use certain colors to dress. I wear the color regardless on how it might be perceived because itās fall and not summer.
I once saw a YouTuber who was reading a book. She said the book had chapters divided by seasons. She wanted to wait for each season so that she could āfeel it entirelyā. Like it was a short book but she still waited throughout all the seasons to complete her reading, reading the winter chapter in winter, Fall in fall, Spring in Spring and Summer in summer.
I personally donāt think I have adopted that lifestyle. I perceive it more of an inconvenience. Iāve lived in countries with seasons before. Everyoneās like āwhatās your favorite season?ā. This might sound sad but I donāt have it. I have a āthe least annoying seasonā-thatās fall. I donāt like having to drastically change my clothes :(
