i’m actually maybe a little evil because i stacked the pomegranate peels on top. anyways she’s the only person i know who has one of these, but it’s a familiar little detail in her kitchen. for reference, we’re childhood best friends of 14 years and she’s lived in the same house this whole time.

Few days late, but I messaged my best friend’s brother for the first time to tell him happy pie day. I went to school with them both growing up but we rarely interacted, now he’s a super-genius & I find him so interesting. I’ve seen him once since we were both adults and his brain is so cool. I’m a lesbian- no hetero intentions- but he is fascinating. We’re going to Boston to stay with him for a week in the summer. Oh- and there’s a photo of my friend and her brother in pie and 3.14 costumes bc their mom is a teacher and they were very cute nerds. They’re both geniuses, kinda cool af Jealous of his celebratory pie tho

hey guys, it’s charlie. My best friend Linus has been telling me all about the Great Pumpkin for years, and I don’t know if I believe him. No one else does, and I feel bad. He is so passionate in his intent to see this personified piece of pie…. I think I may have to sharpie on some eyes to one of those “guess the weight” pumpkins at the county fair. I don’t know. I love my friends. Sometimes it feels like I don’t have any, but someone always comes through for me. Especially Snoopy. I consider him a friend. Well, more like family. Perpetual childhood sure gives you time to think, huh?

I’m talking romantic era circa 1870. rachmaninoff, tchaikovsky, sibelius, saint-saëns, and even later composers like scriabin and ravel. I’ve recently been fixated on sibelius symphony no. 2 and ravel piano concerto in g (the second movement definitely being the most emotional). oh, and this is neoromantic but I can’t pass up an opportunity to recommend ennio morricone’s compositions. I recently relistened to the guiseppe tornatore suite and it’s just wave after wave of bliss from the sonic landscape. I hate to be that pretentious classical music guy but I just really like talking about it lol.

this mug was like $2.50 and i think it’s so cute and quirky (it just has the logo of some old coffee brand on it) and it holds the perfect amount of liquid and a perfectly shaped handle. and i got it while i was hanging out with my friend :)
