my parents always enjoy getting games because that means we will all have to sit down and play it together. at least my parents are always looking for ways to get me and my brother to spend time with them, and they’re big fans of catan and board games like that.
or get them something silly that will make them laugh. i want to get my dad one of those custom tshirts with my dog on it instead of a celebrity, for example. my parents are very in the moment people, and i feel like a lot of other gen x parents are the same way.
