It’s really easy, You make banana bread but before oven time you just add pumpkin purée. Works even better if you have a sweet drink to go with it. If you want to get funny with it banana milk is a good choice but other sweet drinks work great to like an horchata

Cream together 1 stick butter + 1 cup sugar, then mix in 2 eggs. Add 1 TBSP milk, pinch salt, 1 tsp baking soda, 2 cups flour. Add 3 ripe mashed bananas + 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp nutmeg. Bake in a loaf pan at 350 for 50-60 min (depending on your oven) Add 1/2 cup walnuts to the batter if you like it nutty.

I love buying syrup and trying new flavors for lattes but I also love making them from scratch, and it’s SO easy. For this one I added to a small pot: 1/2 cup regular sugar and 1/2 cup brown sugar, one mashed up ripe banana, cinnamon and nutmeg measured with the heart lol it was maybe a teaspoon of cinnamon and then I just shook some ground nutmeg out so not sure how much. Then add one cup of water, mix it up, and bring to a boil. Lower to a simmer and let it simmer for about 10 minutes while occasionally stirring. This one smelled heavenly and so similar to my actual banana bread when simmering. When it’s done you’ll want to strain out the banana chunks and store it in a glass jar in the fridge! You could also add a little vanilla extract to it while it’s cooling/after it’s cooled. I add homemade vanilla extract to some of mine like my French toast syrup. I honestly always find that the syrup tastes even better the morning after you make it. Almost forgot: when you strain out the bananas, save the bananas to put on top of French toast or pancakes!

Sub a portion of sugar for chopped dates to cut the sweetness and add a lil fun texture

this isn’t going to be as cool as it sounds but I have been in college for the last 4 years and I’m going into my final semester here in January. Every semester and summer I have created a playlist that have kinda shaped the way I felt that year and kinda shaped by the way I felt. One dosent exist without the other. Every playlist is named like 1-2 (so year one semester two) or like 3-1( year three semester one) and once that semester is over i try not to listen to that playlist again until about a year passes. I’m about to start working on the last one but I don’t know how to theme it. It’ll be 4-2 obviously but I always have like “seed” music that I put into the playlists before and I’m at a loss. so I need help my ideas now are 1: keep the theming find some new music I like by just going crazy on the shuffle feature 2: find songs from way back in highschool i was really into and try and use those songs only, a sort of "time loop" playlist 3: ask strangers online (you guys) and throw whatever they say on there it might end up as a mix of 2 ideas but any song recs would be appreciated. Feel free to comment or Dm!
