They are ugly and trendy and granola as hell but once you feel those cloud soles, there’s simply no way back. I run in them, I travel in them, I buy groceries in them - you are going to have to remove them from my dead body I’m afraid.
I’d never bought a nice pair of athleisure shoes but a couple years ago I bought some Hokas and damn. I walk a lot so it’s pretty game changing. Feels like I’m walking on a cloud. I wore my last pair almost everyday for 2 years until they fell apart. Now I got some new ones with the gore tex.
It’s exactly what it sounds like - an art gallery inside a u-haul truck. But if you really think about it, it’s also a cool statement about commodification of space in the city that’s stifling creativity and art.
