I came across this (linked) live performance of 6 Underground and wow… Kelli Ali got me under a spell. Her stage presence is incredible. The eye contact!! Omg…. So basically I became her simp and that led me to listen to the their album Becoming X and it’s actually great. I didn’t listen to anything else by the band and I won’t because I they fired her after this album thus I could never respect them.
I thought it was a band trying to sound like HEALTH at first because the game radio character named all the bands. Since I found out it was them it's been in my rotation for a few years now. Still on a search for more bands like them. They either go too indust (not a bad thing) or too techno (not a bad thing).
I’m not into hardcore, but a dude told me about these bands, in case I wanted to try to get into it.
