Philly is an incredible city, the city of brotherly love. I was walking to my hotel in like 20 degree weather with my friend and our suitcases and these dudes must have been coming from an Eagles game in a pick up and they were like where you guys headed and we told them and they totally hooked us up with a ride to the hotel bc they were passing it. That was my first taste of Philly. The next day my friends old roommate took us on a historical tour he curated for us (he does it for a living he’s so good at being a tour guide) The last day I met my uncle at Paddy’s Pub for some very early drinks lol and checked out some records shops and local music. Philly might have the second best local music scene in the US next to Nashville, but that’s just my opinion. I adore that city, but lest to say it’s too cold for me.

come to philly
God damn I love this city!!!! Come here and ride septa or just WALK everywhere!!!! run along the river, read a book in Clark park, have a fantastic cocktail, go to an underground horror movie show, see a comedy show at a weird dive bar and YES YOU CAN DO ALL THIS IN NYC BUT COME DO IT HERE INSTEAD.

It’s central to anywhere in America you want to be, but there’s so much going on here you’ll always have new things to do. Just as long of a commute to Manhattan as Brooklyn or Queens, but half the price. Cheap food, weird drinking laws, cuter than you’d expect by a lot. Where my Philadelphia heads at?

use anything! newspaper and string! fabric! magazine pages! cover that in stickers or drawings or whatever ribbon u have! yesterday i put a box into a trader joe’s bag, folded the top down, and stapled a bow onto it & it looks adorable

this is a photo i took of my empty childhood bedroom—my parents are moving so this was goodbye
i deleted instagram, so now i get to rethink how i interact with photography since there’s no end goal of posting. i ordered prints and i’m planning to collage with them, mail them to people, put them on my fridge… open to recs too!
