Truman Capote is an eccentric millionaire who invites the world’s greatest detectives to his house to solve a mysterious murder. It’s a parody of old detectives like Sam Spade, the Thin Man, Mrs Marple and, unfortunately, Peter Sellers as a Charlie Chan character. You don’t have to be familiar with the original movies for it to be funny, but it will help if you watch with a fun friend.

The first/pilot episode of Columbo is an absolute masterpiece of the genre, a perfect slice of 60s LA, with beautifully engineered plot twists, an incredibly avant-grade soundscape and cracking last 30minutes. Columbo oddly handsome and charming too. A strong rec for mystery lovers

probably murder on the orient express by agatha christie? I just love the closed-off luxury night-train as a setting, very entertaining and well-written, didn't see the end coming ❤️ the 2017 film doesn't do the book justice tho :(

The occupation persists, the oppression persists, the torture persists. The occupiers are psychotic and their work is never finished. People who’ve paid attention won’t be surprised by this photo from Gaza.
