One of my fave pop finds of the last year! If you like Carly Rae Jepsen, you’ll probably dig this. Good lyrics, fun bops, and a healthy dose of the exact kind of melancholy longing that gives me the most satisfying emotional catharsis.

Short N Sweet

Girly Pop Nation: rise up 2024 has been an incredible year for pop music. Ngl it’s challenging that Sabrina is so talented and so beautiful- sometimes hard to be happy for her. But the music is so good and she’s so unserious that I can get past it. Early favs: Coincidence Bad Chem Juno Don’t Smile Also Slim Pickins is a nice s/o those of us who’ve been on Hinge. Now we have this song to tether our experience. edit: I’d also like to add that I admire Sabrina’s unapologetic horniness.

printing off a bunch of articles and essays you want to read

Finally got around to printing off a bunch of the essays and articles that I had saved on my computer for a while. I find it makes it easier to get myself to actually get around to reading some of the stuff. Paper is also a nicer reading experience, with less distractions and eye strain.
