I love it when the producers rattle the cage. I feel like the show mostly shows that love is sadly not blind. I’m always so convinced they really fall in love, and then I imagine that intimate scene replaying with the cameraperson slightly wobbling, half-hidden behind a piece of furniture. A true emotional rollercoaster.

I love trashy reality tv and nothing hits like love is blind and love island for me. Already pretty caught up on love island so time for love is blind. In between the releases I’m all about gordon yelling.

I’m a sucker for a dating show, but tbh I have only played around with the shows that Netflix offers (ie Too Hot To Handle, Love is Blind, etc).
I CANNOT believe that I never experienced Love Island before, the stakes are REAL, the drama is REAL, the people are REAL. Everything feels so genuine, the people are annoying and over dramatic, yes, but that’s what MAKES the show.

so many long, slow, gentle conversations about feelings and the complexities of self-expression
and the studio panel said my thoughts out loud too many times to count
almost no horny behavior, but plenty horny camera gaze

I aspire to that level of devotion to my passions! I also love his more informal abstract paintings and drawings. They’re kind of outsider art in a funny way but so underrated and don’t get enough love!

Particularly for you Americans out there. As with all the best comedy, I hear a line from this show in my head almost everyday as things happen around me. ‘This is the one thing we didn’t want to happen’ etc. The video FX and editing are genius and have not been beaten imo.
