Tim Buckley - Blue Afternoon

A timeless mellow little album. If you know Buckley, it’s likely from Happy Sad, or Goodbye Hello, (both of which are amazing) but Blue Afternoon has a special place in my heart. It hits a unique crossroads of melancholy and warmth that cant be explained except to say – just listen to the song I Must Have Been Blind.

Helplessness blues - fleet foxes

i have listened to this over and over and over again. whenever it’s playing, i feel like i’m listening to what music was always meant to be. i’ve written essays on it, i’ve cried to it, and i’ve gone on many road trips with it…i love it dearly. in my opinion, it’s a once in a lifetime album made by a once in a lifetime band.
