your feet….be ready for ANYthing. I wear mine every day rain or shine. if you get a fancy pair they have great arch support often in my experience. Mine are Kamik, very affordable and styley. I have also liked hunters. I just saw Kacey musgraves and she was wearing some dark green ones on stage, I think I started this trend along with my friend Al. The aesthetic of a rain boot is so nice and minimal and the rubber even kind of gives you a slight fetish wear vibe in a subtle way. I like that mine are black for that reason. They also look like Santa claus’s boots and santa has the best drip. They go with anything

I spent months thinking about buying rainboots but held off on purchasing because I had doubts about how often i’d wear them. Would they become those shoes you stuff away in the back of your coat closet? Anyways… finally bought a pair and now I wear them constantly. When it rains, I get so excited about building my outfit around my rainboots- I wear them at least once a month.

okay not exactly a rain boot and not exactly cheap but my feet are always dry even when i’m ankle deep in mud. if i only got one shoe for the rest of my life it would be these. you could possibly get some cheaper secondhand too! Oh also they will last you like 10 years of daily use

My favorite pair is from Hunter. Feels similar to a boot.

a British d-list animation studio. You can find a good handful of their movies on youtube. They were mostly producing through the 80s and 90s. A lot of stories that disney has versions of, and some around the same time like knock-off styley. Somewhere around 2015 I picked up a DVD from goodwill that had "6 family classics" (always buy these compilation DVDs). One of them was Bevanfield's adaptation of "beauty and the beast". this is the one I have linked. it makes me laugh so much when i watch it with my friends. somehow christopher lee does one of the voices and he does a bad french accent. My second favorite is "jungle book". The editing is so uncanny as to seem intentionally off. I assumed for a long time they were poor quality dubs of a dutch animation studio or something so I lost it when i learned recently its a british studio. The drawing style changes often and theres moments you can tell that they were tracing drawings from disney characters. The music is also very good in these p.s. if you look them up dont watch the stupid reaction videos of people watching bevanfield movies, theres a few of those to avoid
