I don’t have one as I live in a v smol apartment but wow what a treat it is to hang out in at a home that does. burrowing in the corner of a big comfy couch? bliss!
Our bed fills up our entire bedroom, and we don’t have a formal dining table, so this room has become a space where we do our morning stretching, listen to records on weekends, and display things that fit only here
I already responded but this is a really big one. Homes used to be COZY!!!! My parents over the years have subscribed to the awful “magazine” style interior decorating like you see everywhere. They pulled out so many rugs and all the wallpaper. Fortunately they have a decent sense of decoration, our walls are covered in interesting things. Despite that the whole house used to be a lot more comfortable.. new style couches are awful and made to be looked at.. we have an island with awkward bar chairs that are uncomfortable and impractical.. I think this is an issue with new furniture in general, nothing is made for comfort. I miss having rug floors in my bedroom to lay on.. hardwood or tile is just not it.
perfect combo of electronic/vaporwave/grunge/shoegaze, and somehow has a tinge of 80s nostalgia? idk how he does it, but yeah don’t sleep on I been young, you lost me there, monster and bleed.
Join your community garden! Go to local events! Continue to show up even if you feel kinda awkward in the beginning! Get involved in your neighborhood in some way and I promise it’ll change your life for the better. Even if it’s just for the random convos you get to have when you run into someone on the street that you’ve met before or gaining a local friend that can water your plants or pick up packages while you’re away, it feels good to feel like you’re a part of something bigger than yourself.
