Roses Blue (1969)
Blue Boy (1970)
Blue (1971)
Cold Blue Steel and Sweet Fire (1972)
Furry Sings the Blues (1976)
Blue Motel Room (1976) all great picks
joni mitchell, tia blake, bob dylan, jim croce, carol king, james taylor etc i think this is the most magical era of music
also i will never forgive myself for not going to see joni mitchell for literally 40 dollars
Admittedly, I could pick more… But some of my all-time faves are Costello Music by The Fratellis (I’m a sucker for pinups, the single covers are great too) and Blue by Joni Mitchell (it’s simple but evocative of the album as a whole)!
Don't just reel in the good ol' days... let them consume you like a whale. No new generation can take lived experience turned nostalgia away from those who were really there. Stay up extra extra extra late, tossing and turning in bed, rattling your mind about a time you'll never get back (and probably wasn't even as good as the way you put it on a pedestal today). Will we get memories when we die?
the girlies were right. i've been doing a vinyasa flow daily and now my mind + body can't function without it. i did read somewhere that the beatles stopped doing drugs because yoga became their drug lmao
