Almost Famous, Boogie Nights, Licorice Pizza, The Holdovers, Dazed and Confused, etc. This is my favorite genre of movie. I will eat this up every single time. Masterpieces. All of them.

and maybe do some drugs that suit the scene. the long goodbye, bob & carol & ted & alice, nashville, california split - just something about cruising around in a convertible through the smog. seems like it was a fun time to be alive

basically an awesome hangout movie with a bunch of annoying yet charming young socialites enjoying the titular "last days of disco". love that this is a late 80s period piece made less than a decade after it was actually set.

Saturn is really the best planet. There’s a reason why the only planetary body that has an emoji that isn’t a luminary is Saturn. Neptune is maybe a close second though.

Normally, I’m a big album person, but lately my roommate got me into listening to my liked songs. It’s amazing. You get the best of all worlds, Nirvana into Clairo into Caroline Polachek into Talking Heads into Andre3000… How spectacular that we have all of the music in the world just at our constant disposal.
Videos, outside of your window, whatever. Lighting is so scary but so intriguing and beautiful at the same time. Or maybe those things make it beautiful. I don’t know. All I know is that I love watching lightning strike.
