Disgusting and enthralling. Cheesy in the best way. First periods. Snarling. Howling at the moon. A life-changing movie that absolutely had to have had an influence on Jennifer’s Body. Naturally it’s the first of a trilogy, and each film gets worse but you can’t stop watching.

Referred to as ‘the gay Thelma + Louise’ a sexy and violent road trip romance. Like all Araki films this one is densely packed with fun details: a gaybasher wearing a sex lies + videotapes t-shirt, a horny hush puppies ad, another gaybasher wearing a Drugstore Cowboy shirt…I love all Araki’s films but this one is probably my favorite 🖤
