When I’m in a specific cafe in Philadelphia I try to notice the shoes I see. A lot of professionals and tourists come through so I see a variety of footwear. Nothing weird going on, just fashion.

👟I never understoody why so many people work sooo hard on keeping their shoes looking 'brand new'? Like yeah they look nice but theres also a vibe from beat up, creased shoes yk? It just shows how much you love them, like you wear them every other day type shi. + I wore a light shirt the other day and the color was light enough to see my nips. Is that such a bad thing? I felt so many people judging .

🥾I’m very stubborn when it comes to buying new items for my wardrobe - especially shoes. i recently got myself a new pair for the first time since i was sixteen. But I still wear my old white air force 1s. And my black ones too. But not too long ago i got these fake docs and they fit me great! It feels so weird to walk around in un-creased shoes. But that wont last very long. I dont know how to take good care of footwear. But that’s nothing a trip to the mall can’t fix. You know those guys who offer to spruce up your shoes in the mall?

your favourite pair of trousers. your best skirt. that jacket you‘ve been eyeing up for months that you just bought half price from the store that’s normally too expensive to shop at. the shirt that’s the perfect shade, sits just right on your body. and then the shoes… the shoes.
an afterthought. the rest of the outfit is perfect, immaculate, a ten out of ten, so why worry? no one really looks at the shoes anyway so why bother to find the right pair. the ones that match, or clash, but in the best kind of way. the ones in the perfect shade, made out of the exact material to tie in with the rest of the look. charming, or classic, or cute, or fugly, or camp, or trashy, or polarising.
the ones with character! those ones! where are they? oh, it didn’t matter to you? you figured nobody was going to look down anyway.

🏋I like working out and when I leave a workout class and I feel sore and then I take an epsom salt bath and I get in bed and my body just feels like YEAH you USED ME TODAY YAY. I love that.
