lol I also love a hallmark-esque movie. I usually lean towards the star studded ones (Dolly Parton, Lindsay Lohan) but need to expand my mind šŸ§˜šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

evie i can’t necessarily say i RECOMMEND carmilla but it is kind of iconic — it’s a movie based on a really corny canadian lesbian vampire webseries (based on a classic novel) that was popular in the mid-2010s 😭

marxinista lol whether or not it’s ā€œgoodā€ doesn’t matter sometimes. I like a movie that TRIES to do something every now and again

When Harry Met Sally is my number one rom com and movie, always. My Big Fat Greek Wedding is another one I love. Recently watched The Wedding Planner (Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey) and loved it. Runaway Bride (Julia Roberts and Richard Gere) is also good.
I Want You Back, When We First Met, No Hard Feelings are enjoyable. Romancing the Stone was great, you can also watch The Lost City (Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum) which has tons of parallels to Romancing the Stone.
This time of the year I always try to watch Lovehard, Serendipity, While You Were Sleeping, and The Holiday.
I don't know if this (or any of the above recs) are what you're looking for but Much Ado About Nothing (1993) is in my top 10 favorite movies.

being traditionally cool is really quite boring and iterative, and it’s actually very cool and sexy to geek out about something you like or share bits of knowledge on a topic you’re passionate about

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WORKER’S DAY!!!! i love having a union, i love being a union steward and getting to support my unit. when my union won its contract, i got a pay bump, better benefits, and increased protection as a worker. 🄳 unions help address racial and gender pay gaps, issues workplaces impose on families and those having kids, addressing unsafe conditions, plus things like better health insurance, wages and overtime, weingarten rights to representation, and more!!! if you don’t have a union but are thinking about forming one, check out AFL-CIO’s page (linked) or Emergency Workplace Organizing Committee. there’s always more power in a union!! āœŠšŸ„–šŸŒ¹
