whether it be an online hater or a karen or someone being blatantly rude to you… just chuckle in amusement! usually people are projecting and you shouldn’t take them seriously. being full of joy right in their face makes their blood boil — and who stews the rest of the way? certainly not you!

had a friend compare my laugh to a hyena’s and that comment really stuck on me and turned my laugh into an insecurity :( and i frequently will get the comment from my mom to not ”laugh too loud” or to laugh more “ladylike” …
and i just saw an interview where neil newbon explains how to do astarion from bg3’s voice and he specifically says that he uses a laugh for him that is “ear piercing, crowd stopping and conversation obliterating” but he then describes the laugh as haughty, raucous
but most importantly unapologetic?
and that’s really sticking with me now. to remember that my larger than laugh insane squeal of a laugh that is just like astarion’s in “coversation obliterating” levels is also unapologetic. and i deserve to let the world know when i’m happy and joyous

life is so much more fun if you just let it be!!! there‘s so much whimsy and delight in the world for those with eyes to see. i still laugh at a well executed poop joke okay you’re not cool for being the last person to crack a smile. lower that damn brow and laugh!!!!

i <3 teasing & piling on my co-workers and bosses at my day job as a way to push the day ahead and suffer in bliss together working under The Man. when a manager tries to reprimand me for being late (again) i turn it back on them with a cheeky lil joke or smile... relief all-around . a lil joke is more fun for you and everyone else...also i need to give crying a break it's just a reflex at this point

whenever i’m away from this app i’m like… I have nothing to post. And then it reminds me that maybe i’m a little miserable and infected by haterism and that’s why I can’t think of anything to recommend to all of u fellow friends. reminding myself of things I like n enjoy is kind of like reminding urself of everything ur grateful for :)
