I love temperate weather. i struggle with style-less beach flop sorts. Nice is Parisian chic meets beach vibes. of course the French did it best. yes forever.
Nice, France and the surrounding small villages are super pretty. It can get a little touristy, but the locals are generally really friendly for France. Super cool markets and beaches.
There's something about the crowd that's flown into (and sprouts out of...) Paris during February and September that immediately spoils the fun. Shit feels like NYC on a Thursday night. Sudden amounts of faulty memories about your name from people you did a not-at-all suspicious amounts of bathroom runs with for three consecutive days.
If you want to have a good time (and care about the crossroads of industry and connection), come for January Couture and Men's June. You'll probably meet someone who you'll either end up collaborating or having like Christmas dinner with. Idk shit's pretty nice. Anyone in Paris this week?
eye contact and genuine inquiry is a great start. Turns out everyone has a soul and is basically you in a different form, so they’re actually quite fascinating and lovable. Give it a try.
10/10 would recommend. just comes so damn naturally. magnetizes the people to you who will actually appreciate you for who you are, instead of who you pretend to be. repels the people who'd force you to fake it. It's bullet proof, imo.
it's actually so cringe and not charming at all to try. The people who don't get it won't get it anyway, and you'll just erode your own minimal sense of self respect by even trying.
Let them crucify you. Martyrs are always remembered.
